Izabela graduated with a psychology degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Post-graduate Teaching Course. She currently works as a psychologist in “Elfiki”, a private kindergarten, as well as teaching developmental psychology and psycholinguistics at the Warsaw School of Applied Linguistics. She has acquired a lot of professional experience in the private Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre, “Ząbkowska”, where she has organised workshops for juvenile delinquents, and counselling sessions for parents. She also conducted training sessions for parents in the Moms Club in Bemowo.
She previously taught catastrophe medicine at the Warsaw School of Medicine, and worked at the Institute of Psychological Rescue and the “Oswoić Stres” Foundation, where she predominantly organised stress management workshops. She has held internships in psychological and pedagogical counselling centres in Warsaw, as well as schools (primary, junior high, and high schools). She has completed numerous courses and training programmes on child and youth psychology (including cognitive-behavioural therapy for children and youths, school readiness assessment, difficulties at school, risk of dyslexia, diagnosis and therapy for children at risk, writing therapeutic children’s stories, social skills training sessions, etc.).
