VISTULA UNIVERSITY 

Vistula University is the first private non-profit higher education institution established in Poland. UV has been steadily rising in the university rankings of Polish universities (currently no. 5 among private universities). Vistula is also the national leader in the field of internationalization among all Polish Universities with 2784 foreign students out of 6372 in total. 

The high quality of education and achievements of students and graduates of Vistula have been recognized by the Polish School Accreditation Commission.  A wide range of academic programs are offered in  bachelor`s,  master`s and PhD levels. UV participates in global projects with socio-cultural, environmental, business and technological  dimensions.  UV received the highest rating, “A” , in the parametric evaluation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the category of small research units.  Vistula also participated in the European Erasmus LLP  and Gruntvig programs. 

UV is doing effective research cooperation with business partners. We produced many reports commissioned by our corporate partners , including “Go Global – Report on the Polish Economy”, the report “The role of interest groups in the legislative process in Poland”. Currently conducts projects:  “Student Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer”, “Computer chance for you”, "Innovative and efficient administration of the source of success in the knowledge economy”, “The quality of the Academy of Finance”.

Witold Orłowski – special adviser of European Commission on the budget, member of the National Development Council established by the President of Poland; Marek Kulczycki PhD – chairman of FM Bank PBP, former chairman of Deutsche Bank PBC SA, former employee of United Nations on Industrial Development; prof.  Krzysztof Rybiński –former Vice-President of the National Bank of Poland, prof.  Andrzej Olechowski – former minister of finance and former minister of foreign affairs, prof. Longin Pastusiak – former Vice-President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Associate prof. Oskar Kowalewski – INE PAN, Fellow Wharton Institutions Financial Center, member of the editorial board of the Family Business Review magazine, Associate prof. Vistula University offers a scholarship system that will allow you to reduce the cost of learning. You can apply for financial support from the funds allocated for this purpose in the state budget in the form of: social scholarships, scholarships for the best students granted by rector, a special scholarship for the disabled, a Minister’s scholarship for outstanding achievements, and grants.

Badminton, indoor football, rowing machines, and even modern dance – at Vistula University you can choose your own sport and develop your skills. We have many champions here: a world champion in the sport dance, a Polish vice-champion in horsemanship, a Polish champion in speed skating, a Polish champion in wheelchairs dance, a Ukrainian champion in karate.

The modern campus in Warsaw is located in the Ursynów district, near the metro station Stokłosy. It’s perfectly adapted to the needs of students. There is a library where you will find all the books needed for classes and a reading room. In the whole building there is Wi-Fi, so you’re able to be up to date with events in the world and you know what your friends are up to (you can use the university’s public computers). There are two cafeterias serving delicious meals, snacks and sweets. The University is designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
