Anna graduated in 1995, with a Master’s degree from Moscow State Pedagogical University’s philology department, majoring in teaching Russian and literature. She also completed a post-graduate course in international trade at the Warsaw School of Economics. Her research interests include glottodidactics, especially its practical applications in foreign language teaching, including the principles of creating teaching materials, effective lesson planning, as well as constructive assessment and teaching. Her doctoral research is related to memorising foreign language texts in foreign language teaching, and the leading role of discourse in glottodidactics. Anna has been teaching Russian since 2002, and has taught at the University of Warsaw since 2011 (as a language teacher at the University Language Centre, and a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics).
