Professor of economics, in the years of 2017-2019, rector of Vistula University in Warsaw. Chief economic advisor to PwC Poland, member of the National Development Council at the President of the Republic of Poland. Former head of the team of economic advisors to President Aleksander Kwasniewski, member of the National Development Council of President Lech Kaczyński and Government Economic Council of the Prime Minister Donald Tusk, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum in Warsaw. From 2017, Vistula University professor.
During his scientific activity, he has been dealing with macroeconomics, growth theory and European integration. Author of 12 books and over 200 scientific publications in the field of economics, finance and international relations.

- European integration and euro area issues;
- economic development and economic policy of Poland.
