He specializes in the post-communist period, and his current research focuses on Warsaw as an international securities trading centre (compared to Prague, Budapest and Vienna); he conducts research based on financial geography as well as on economic analysis of law; recently he was the editor of the “Reviewing the European Union Accession” magazine (Brill, Leiden / Boston); currently he is preparing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Oxford on Warsaw as a financial centre.
