Head of Program for the English and Chinese Studies; graduate of the English Studies at the University of Warsaw; literary scholar who focuses on contemporary literature and comparative studies; author of the monograph The Web of Sense: Patterns of Involution in Selected Works of Virginia Woolf and Vladimir Nabokov (2012), as well as over 30 articles in books and journals on the topics connected with textual studies, culture and film; teaches British and American literature and culture; currently she is finishing co-editing with Mikołaj Wiśniewski the joint project Vladimir Nabokov and the Fictions of Memory and working on the monograph on Ian McEwan; she received scholarship grant from Kościuszko Foundation in 2018-2019.

- contemporary British literature;
- comparative studies;
- modernism and postmodernism in literature and art;
- intercultural communication;
- detective fiction.
