Since 2013, she has been a president of the Centre for International Relations – one of the oldest Polish think tanks specializing in foreign affairs; a co-founder and a president of the THINKTANK centre; she attended universities in Poland and in France (Sorbonne) and is a graduate of doctoral studies in two fields, as well as a graduate of specialist studies of the Columbia University in New York (political sciences, Fulbright scholarship); in years 1995-1998, she worked for the Polish Television as an opinion journalist for domestic and foreign affairs; in 1998, she became a director of the European Information Centre of the Committee for European Integration, where, among other tasks, she developed a network of regional centres and the governmental programme for informing the society about the EU; in years 2001-2007, she was an expert, and later a head of the Programme for Information and Communication of the European Union – first in Poland and then in Bulgaria, preparing these countries for their accession to the EU; she worked for the governmental Centre for Development of Human Resources as an advisor for EU affairs; an author of more than 150 works and a promoter of almost a hundred diploma theses; she has managed international projects (including in the Visegrád Group, the Eastern Partnership and EU – India cooperation); she has participated in scientific conferences and think-tank debates and she has commented on international affairs in the domestic and foreign media.
