He earned his engineer’s degree at the Donetsk National Technical University in Ukraine, and his doctoral degree – at the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics; an author of more than one hundred articles and two books, 32 articles indexed in Scopus and in WoS; he has developed universal Petri nets, analysis of infinite Petri nets of regular structure, a Petri net distribution and a method for synthesis of fuzzy logic functions provided in tables; he is a member of the ACM; he has lectured as a guest at many foreign universities, including in China, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the USA; he has also conducted many research projects, including in the field of software and computer networks.
