GLOBAL MBA STUDIES DESCRIPTION
The Global MBA studies programme is the best choice for those who dare to think, try, search, criticise and make decisions. The programme is based on three core values: inspiration, innovation, and implementation, which create the programme’s foundation.
Inspiration – diverse cohorts, and a faculty with a rich and wide cross-sector experience shared at every step of the programme.
Innovation – by applying innovative, active, and flexible teaching methods adopted to each cohort, we are able to create the space for innovations developed by our students.
Implementation – our curriculum is constructed in a way that provides students with the set of tools necessary to implement innovations developed during the course, and in their further careers.
The one-year-long, full-time Global MBA studies provide solid foundations in key
business disciplines, and reflects the complexity of management issues that arise in the
international and global context. The structure of the Global MBA programme is
designed to reflect the challenges of international and global business, and to
incorporate core competencies appropriate to the turbulent business environment.
It is also possible to combine the Global MBA with an MA in Management. The MA path takes an additional 12 months. To obtain an MA in Management, one needs to get credits for a specific set of courses.

The Global MBA is a career development programme aimed at business professionals with more than two years of business experience.
Global MBA studies are a great way of gaining new skills. They are most often chosen by senior managers, but if you are ambitious, and want to develop your career dynamically, then the Global MBA is definitely for you.
If you are an experienced manager, and are looking for new career opportunities, MBA studies are for you! Managers of international corporations and medium-sized companies, across a range of industries and sectors, will also find the programme enriching. The programme will give business owners and board members the opportunity to learn new tools. They will help you make strategic decisions and support the process of effective human resources management.
People in management
Are you managing a business or a team, but you do not have a formal managerial degree? If yes, then the Global MBA is the appropriate study for you! We invite specialists from all fields and industries – e.g. engineers, doctors – all who want to become better leaders for their teams.
Applicants for the Global MBA programme must meet the following minimum requirements:
- have at least 2 years of work experience,
- hold at least a BA diploma,
- have a good command of English (at least the equivalent of B2 level). This must be confirmed by a relevant certificate or diploma of studies in the English language of instruction.
Further requirements include:
- application form – to be completed on-line,
- the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae,
- 2 letters of recommendation,
- admission interview (also via Skype).

Magdalena Kaczkowska-Serafińska, PhD
Magdalena is Vistula University Group’s HR Manager, a business trainer, HR consultant, academic and coach. She is on the list of the Ministry of Treasury as a recommended candidate for membership on Supervisory and Management Boards. A Doctor of Economics in Management ( Diploma with distinction from the Warsaw School of Economics), her dissertation focused on the factors which determine employee work satisfaction in various European countries (the only dissertation on work satisfaction at the Warsaw School of Economics).
Associate Professor, Jan Fazlagić
Associate Professor of the Poznań University of Economics and Business, and the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Development Projects of Vistula University. Professor Fazlagić is an expert on school management, education, innovation in education, as well as managing intellectual capital management, marketing, and service design; he is one of the precursors of knowledge management in Poland. He is the author of the book titled: “KREATYWNI W BIZNESIE’, (THE CREATIVE IN BUSINESS, Poltext 2015). For almost 15 years, he has collaborated with numerous local authorities and teachertraining centres, working to develop future management cadres in education.
Professor Witold Orłowski
A Professor of Economics, who since February, 2016, has been the Rector of Vistula University. He specialises in applied econometrics and macro-economics, economic transformation, and the European integration of CEE countries. He graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Łódź, and later studied at Harvard University. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Łódź, and obtained his habilitative post-doctoral degree from the University of Warsaw. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Professor of Economics. He was a Professor and Director of the School of Business of the Warsaw University of Technology.
dr Krzysztof Celuch
Dr. Krzysztof Celuch – a speaker, trainer, business consultant, academic lecturer, and an entrepreneur. He specialises in the meetings industry, event marketing, and event management. His scientific research, training observations, and keynotes, are all built on knowledge in economics, business psychology, sociology, marketing, and cultural studies. He conducts workshops and training sessions, deliver lectures and moderate on panel discussions, debates, and management meetings, but also implements research projects, builds strategies and provides business consulting services. Assisting organisations, institutions, and companies in the areas of management, communication, motivation and business development, with particular emphasis on the meetings industry (event marketing) is another ‘string to his bow’.

W latach 1989-2009 związany z Międzynarodowym Funduszem Walutowym. Prowadził indywidualne misje dla wdrożenia metodologii statystyki pieniężno-kredytowej dla centralnych banków Gruzji, Mołdawii, Rosji, Nigerii, Namibii, Mauritiusa, Mongolii, Chin i wielu innych. Prowadził kursy Monetarny and Financial Statistics m.in. w IMF Institute w Waszyngtonie, w Joint Vienna Institute w Wiedniu, czy w Arab Montary Fund w Abu Dhabi. Pracował również przy wdrożeniach metodologii fiskalnej dla Ministerstw Finansów Polski, Rosji, Słowacji, Czech i Mongolii.

ABOUT ORGANISATION OF THE STUDIES
The Global MBA is a two-year course. The academic year begins on October the 1st, and ends on September the 30th, the following year.
Each academic year consists of two semesters:
Semester I – winter: from October the 1st to February the 14th.
Semester II – Summer: February the15th to September the 30th.
The programme is implemented within a framework of weekend sessions (so, classes on Fridays are held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

The fee for the whole Global MBA programme is 8,000 EUR and can be paid in two instalments: 4,000 EUR per semester.
The fee for the additional path leading to the MA diploma is 1900 EUR and can be paid in two instalments: 1,000 per semester.
The admission fee (non-refundable) for the Global MBA programme is:
- 120 EUR for EU citizens and citizens of Belarus, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, and Columbia, who all pay at the rates of the European Union.
- 200 EUR – for other countries.
