Tom Landry, hailed as one of the greatest coaches in American football of all time, used to say that “a coach is someone who tells you what you don’t want to hear, who has you see what you don’t want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be”. Every professional coach knows that, only by continuous development, as well as acquiring new knowledge and skills, can we achieve success. The Coaching for Managers (post-graduate level) programme will allow you to do just that. Our faculty of professionals and modern teaching methods resulted in the creation of a programme aimed at acquiring new skills, and using them to achieve professional success.

This programme is ideal for managers, but is also great for all those who would like to become coaches and support employees of various types of corporations and organisations. The post-graduate programme is available for university graduates who hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

The Coaching programme ends with an exam and a thesis defence, during which you will prove that you have mastered applying your knowledge to real-world problems. This defence takes place before our Examinations Committee.

As a graduate of this programme, you will have the skills necessary to:

    • Be a coach, i.e. you will know the basics skills of a coach, coaching tools and techniques, coaching methodology, and you will master giving feedback to employees, and giving coaching talks.
    • Develop your managerial skills, including leadership skills, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, constructive criticism, positive motivation, organisational workflow, time management, as well as employee assessment and development talks.
    • Utilise psychology and management in your work.

    • Management in organisations, companies, as well as domestic and international corporations.
    • Coaching in companies and organisations, which emphasise advanced processes aimed at achieving business goals.
    • Your own business, working as a successful freelance coach for various companies and institutions.

Learn more about how to apply for the post-graduate programme, and join us as a student at Vistula University!

  • The two-semester curriculum of the Coaching for Managers post-graduate programme has been designed for everyone interested in developing their organisations and achieving business goals via coaching. Over the course of the two semesters, you will receive practical training focused on particular skills, necessary to effectively manage people.

Group courses take the form of workshops, in which we focus on case studies. The programme also includes seminars centred around solving particular problems. In addition, our students participate in individual coaching sessions with certified coaches.
