Vistula’s online studies give you the possibility to gain the essential competences of next-generation business leaders and an internationally recognised qualification, without sacrificing personal, family, career or community commitments.
Our Mobile Studies are part-time flexible programmes that are of equal value to on-campus programmes, in terms of entry criteria and overall workload. The only difference is in the course delivery mode, which is an optimal mixture of:
– self-study sessions, designed as dynamic multimedia content that can be studied wherever and whenever convenient for a student,
– live sessions via webcam, to interact directly with classmates and faculty members, and to actively participate in discussions,
– on-campus activities (6 during the whole programme – during the Introduction Week, at the end of each semester, and during the Graduation Week), to complete the semester and develop critical business skills.
It should be highlighted that most assignments and learning exercises can be completed at the student’s convenience.
Online studies at Vistula University comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on distance learning (dated September the 25th, 2007, as amended). Graduates of Mobile Studies receive exactly the same diploma as other extra-mural students.
International Business Management is a 2year (24 months) part-time, post-graduate programme in general management, aimed at preparing students for leading positions in business organisations.
If you want to start your own company, manage a family business, or undertake any other enterprise, this programme is ideal for you! The curriculum covers key issues of business activity, as perceived from an international perspective. After completing the programme, you will be able to solve international business problems, make decisions on the operational and strategic levels, as well as manage the risks associated with conducting international activities.
During the course, we will teach you to develop effective strategies and business plans, we will show you how to obtain the best employees, and successfully build their involvement in the development of the company. You will learn how to communicate with key stakeholders, and effectively reach consumers with the promotional offers of your company. You will also develop understanding of how to gain competitive advantage and compete successfully in the international marketplace.

prof. dr hab. Zbigniew Olesiński
Autor 187 publikacji, w tym 11 książek. W trakcie swojej kariery zawodowej odbył wiele staży i szkoleń m.in. w Irlandii, na Tajwanie i Rosji. Został również odznaczony m.in: srebrnym medalem „Zasłużony Kulturze – Gloria Artis” oraz Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski.
Magdalena Kaczkowska-Serafińska, PhD
Magdalena is Vistula University Group’s HR Manager, a business trainer, HR consultant, academic and coach. She is on the list of the Ministry of Treasury as a recommended candidate for membership on Supervisory and Management Boards. A Doctor of Economics in Management ( Diploma with distinction from the Warsaw School of Economics), her dissertation focused on the factors which determine employee work satisfaction in various European countries (the only dissertation on work satisfaction at the Warsaw School of Economics).
dr hab. Marlena Plebańska
Jedna z prekursorek polskiej e-edukacji. Ekspertka w zakresie kształcenia na odległość oraz wykorzystania nowych mediów w edukacji. Specjalistka w obszarze zarządzania wiedzą. Liderka polskiego e-learningu. Autorka ponad stu publikacji naukowych oraz kilkudziesięciu publikacji popularno-naukowych z zakresu e-edukacji. Od 16 lat inspirator, projektant i strateg rozwiązań e-learningowych oraz zarządzania wiedzą w wielu polskich przedsiębiorstwach, szkołach i organizacjach pozarządowych. Kierowniczka i konsultantka projektów edukacyjnych. Aktywna trenerka, wykładowca oraz doradca MEN, MaiC i MNiSW.
dr hab. Adam Grzegorczyk
Specjalista z zakresu marketingu, reklamy, mediów, ochrony własności intelektualnej i zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi. Gościennie prowadzi również wykłady na wielu zagranicznych i krajowych uniwersytetach, w tym: we Lwowskim Uniwersytecie Narodowym im. Iwana Franki we Lwowie na Ukrainie czy Narodowym Uniwersytecie Technicznym Ukrainy w Kijowie.
dr Marek Szelągowski
Od ponad 20 lat związany z informatyką i wykorzystaniem informatyki do wspierania zarządzania. Uczestniczył w tworzeniu i wdrażaniu rozwiązań informatycznych w obszarach księgowości, zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi, produkcji, zarządzania infrastrukturą IT itp. W latach 2000-2008 pełnił funkcję CIO Grupy BUDIMEX. W latach 2008-2015 prowadził oraz uczestniczył w analizach i optymalizacji procesów biznesowych oraz opracowaniu procesów zarządzania architekturą IT ponad 50 przedsiębiorstw z branż budowlanej, telekomunikacyjnej, farmaceutycznej, energetycznej i ochrony zdrowia.
Associate Professor, Elżbieta Jędrych
Professor Jędrych obtained her habilitative post-doctoral degree in Management. She is the author of more than 90 research articles and expert opinions for businesses. She specialises in human resources and human capital management, employee development management, motivation and rewarding, social responsibility in HR processes, social innovations in organisations, as well as leading work teams. She is currently Head of the Institute of Management of Vistula University, in addition, to being a lecturer at the University of Economics in Prague (Faculty of Business Administration), and Monash University, Prato Centre, (Business and Economics, Milan). She has carried out projects on human and social capital investment, personal innovation absorption in organisation, as well as increasing the competitiveness of organisations, via human capital development.
Justyna Berniak-Woźny, PhD
She graduated with a PhD in Social- Sciences from Leeds Metropolitan University. She holds an MBA diploma from Polish Open University and Oxford Brookes University. A business trainer and consultant, she teaches Bachelor’s, Master’s, and MBA courses, both in-class and via distance learning. She specialises in the ethics of business, corporate, social responsibility and strategic communication. Justyna is also an author of publications and teaching materials related to these issues.
dr Artur Kwasek
Uczestnik szkoleń dotyczących zastosowania nowych technologii w dydaktyce na uniwersytetach: Universidade Alberta in Lizbon, (Portugalia), Thames Valley University in London (Wielka Brytania) i Technical Education Institute in Larissa (Grecja). Dziekan Oddziału Mazowieckiego POU, współtwórca kolejnych wersji systemu e-learning w POU. Jest autorem i współautorem ponad 10 modułów, materiałów dydaktycznych i podręczników e-learningowych oraz około 50 artykułów dotyczących wykorzystania nowych technologii w zarządzaniu.
Stanisław Gasik, PhD
Stanisław is a holder of the Project Management Professional title, the highest project management title, issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global project leader organisation, based in the United States. An active project leader, he has more than 20 years of experience in project management, counselling, project audits, and implementing relevant solutions. A Master of Mathematics and Doctor of Economics (specialisation – project management), not surprisingly, he teaches project management at Vistula University. Stanisław is a member of PMI teams, creating project management standards, e.g. A Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, the most important international standard of project management, with 5 million copies sold worldwide, and translated into 10 languages) and the Standard for Programme Management. The PMI described Stanisław Gasik’s contribution to the development of these standards as ‘significant’. He is an assessor for the International Project Excellence Award of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). He has spoken at international congresses on project management, organised by both the PMI and IPMA.
Dr Agnieszka Knap-Stefaniuk
PH.D. [Warsaw School of Economisc; SGH] and MBA [Polish Open University/Thames Valley University]. She was a member of PKA [Polish Accreditation Commission]. She was a member of Executive Board, Teaching and Scientific Council [Polish Open University]. She received awards Rector – The Best Educational Employee of the Year 2006, 2007, and for her achievements in 2011. She conducted training and consulting projects [e.g. Lexmark, Galeco, Biprocemwap, Capgemini]. She had a lot of lectures and presentations [e.g. National Congress “Personnel and Administration,” National Congress “First Human Resources of the Republic” and HR Forum. She wrote many publications in the field of Human Resources Management.

Professor Leszek Zaremba
Professor Leszek earned his habilitative post-doctoral degree in Control Theory in 1986. He is a mathematician, and a graduate of Warsaw University (theoretical mathematics section). He has taught courses in mathematics and portfolio theory, at a number of American universities, and has authored more than 30 articles published in American, European, Polish, Japanese and Russian journals.

Applicants for the International Business Management Master’s programme must meet the following requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of work experience;
Hold a Bachelor’s degree Diploma;
Have a good command of English – at least the equivalent of B2 level, confirmed by a relevant certificate or diploma of studies, with the English language of instruction.
