• What documents do I need to submit?

    1. 3 copies of the application for a temporary residence permit filled in Polish language (a link to a file to download: https://wnioski.mazowieckie.pl/MuwWscEww/Choice)
    2. 4 recent color photographs, undamaged, size 45×35 mm, made in the last six months on a plain white background, with good focus, clearly showing the eyes and face from the top of the head to the top of the shoulders; the face should occupy 70-80% of the photograph; the photograph should show the person looking straight ahead with their eyes open, not covered by hair, with a natural facial expression and mouth closed.
    3.  A valid travel document (passport) (2 photocopies);
    4.  Confirmation from the university of acceptance for studies or continuation of studies, or a certificate of participation in training course;
    5.  Proof of payment of the required tuition/course fee, if they are payable;
    6. Documents confirming having health insurance or coverage by the insurer of the cost of treatment in Poland;
    7. Evidence of sufficient funds to cover the costs of living and return travel to the country of origin or residence and the cost of tuition/ training course.

  • Where can I submit an application?

    Personally via appointment

    1.  In the seat of Office at Ul. Marszałkowska 3/5, in Warsaw (ground floor, room No 14 and 16)
    2. OPENING HOURS FOR CLIENTS: MON 10:00 A.M.-5:30 P.M. ; WED – CLOSED; TUE-FRI 8:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.
  • A foreigner wishing to submit the application in person at the office is required to:

    call the phone number: 22 695 67 71 or send an e-mail to wniosek@mazowieckie.pl (you are required to provide your phone number; they will call you back) in order to receive an appointment. Please, arrange your appointment 2 months before the expiry date of your valid visa or resident card.

    Or personally with no appointment

    at the Registry Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Office, 3/5 Bankowy Sq., room no. 39, entrance B, office hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

  • Appeal procedure

    If you are dissatisfied with the decision received, you have a right to make an appeal. The appeal shall be submitted to the Head of the Office of Alien Affairs through the Governor of Mazovian Province within 14 days from the date of delivery of the decision.

  • University assistance

    Vistula University International office offers advisory services in making applications for TRC and preparation of appeal letters.
