The MA in Energy Management is a two-year, full-time programme aimed at equipping students with knowledge, skills, and competences, to work in the spheres of energy business, both national and international.
The programme will familiarise you with the international standards of managing business organisations in the energy sector. The theoretical knowledge you will acquire in lectures, will find practical applications in workshops and seminars.
The programme is developed and taught in close co-operation with industry professionals, who introduce an international perspective through a diverse range of courses. This combination of competencies ensures that the knowledge you will gain is truly reliable and credible.
As Energy Management graduates, you will be ready to take a leading role in shaping the energy industry, for today and tomorrow. You will understand the undergoing energy transition, and have the key knowledge and skills required for a successful career in the energy industry.

Stanisław Gasik, PhD
Stanisław Gasik is a holder of the Project Management Professional title, the highest project management title, issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global project leader organisation, based in the United States. An active project leader, he has more than 20 years of experience in project management, counselling, project audits, and implementing relevant solutions. A Master of Mathematics and Doctor of Economics (specialisation – project management), not surprisingly, he teaches project management at Vistula University. Stanisław Gasik is a member of PMI teams, creating project management standards, e.g. A Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, the most important international standard of project management, with 5 million copies sold worldwide, and translated into 10 languages) and the Standard for Programme Management. The PMI described Stanisław Gasik’s contribution to the development of these standards as ‘significant’. He is an assessor for the International Project Excellence Award of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). He has spoken at international congresses on project management, organised by both the PMI and IPMA.
Ziemowit Iwanski former Region Executive in the region of Central & Eastern Europe and Baltic States since 2011, responsible for market growth of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy business. Was working on position of Country Executive for GE Energy in period from 2005 until 2011, responsible for sales of GE Energy Infrastructure business. Ziemowit Iwanski, a graduate of Nuclear Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute, has been working for GE Energy since 1998. Between 1981 and 1998, he was involved in R&D and commercial projects related to nuclear energy and combined Cycle units, including IGCC technology. The projects were financed by the Polish governmental founds, US Department of Energy and the EU. Ziemowit Iwanski worked as a consultant for leading Polish and international energy companies on power and capital investment projects. Ziemowit Iwanski is the author of many technical publications for trade magazines and for Power Gen conferences.
