An online seminar with guests from other academic centres and think tanks and NGOs was a major event in the Institute’s foregoing activities. Dr Bartłomiej Nowak presented the assumptions of his new book prepared for the Palgrave publishing house, entitled “Governance for a polycentric global order”. He paid special attention to the phenomenon of polycentrism in international relations and the question of what research tools to use to get to know them best.
The Institute’s seminars are addressed to both academic staff and a wider audience. In this way, the Institute contributes to building not only the academic culture and favourable scientific environment but also the popularization of knowledge. The topics planned for 2020 include: changing international order, new technologies and international policy, research and methodological problems of the turn of 1989, political leadership, the future of European integration, Poland and the euro area, management of Polish European policy, Russia’s political system, consequences of “Green Deal” for the European Union and Poland.
