Welcom to Career Office!

At Vistula Group of Universities there is a Career Office that will help you make those first professional steps. It is composed of people with passion who perfectly understand that it is not easy for young individuals to function in the labor market. They will be happy to advise you how to write a good cover letter and CV; they will advise you on how to behave during a job interview and, in general, how to look for a job.

  • Cooperation with employers

    1. Networking with companies both in Poland and abroad
    2. Setting up meetings with employers, experts
    3. Every year we are organizing job fair JobSpot and JobDay. It is a great opportunity for a personal conversation with recruiters. You will receive all needed information in advance before any event.
  • Searching for job offers

    We are conducting a base of employers, internship offers and informing  students about current Career Office offers. All current job and internship offers  you can find on web page of Vistula University and Career Office board by the Auditorium 1.

  • Successful application

    We are helping to create professional CV. We will tell you what you should write there and how to introduce your strong sides.

  • Professional consulting

    1. We are offering integrated system of competencies research. The research consists from 3 stages: signing up, test and meeting with adviser.
    2. Using special tools we will help you to define your competencies and help you to choose your future career.
    3. We will help you to discover your talent and find the way to use them in practice.

  • Workshop organization

    1. Every year we are organizing many interesting workshops
    2. Interpersonal Competencies Workshops will help you to get to know your strengths.
    3. During exercise you will develop new skills.
  • There are no obligatory internships for students. If you are currently enrolled in the I and II degree level (full-time, part-time, online) and your studies started after 2013/2014 you must to do internship only if it is an element of your course of studies. In that case you have to do internship in the certain period of your program.

    Before your internship starts

     

    Step 1: Print documents below

    Step 2: Let your employer sign 2 copies of the statements

    Step 3: Submit documents below at the Career’s Office* to get them signed by Faculty Student Training Supervisor:

    • 2 copies of the Agreement on organisation of student occupational internship signed by employer
    • Referral to student occupational internship (if required by employer)

    Step 4: Deliver signed agreements

    • One copy to Career’s Office
    • One copy to your employer

    *If you are a part time student, you can submit all documents at the Dean’s Office

    After internship

    Submit documents signed by employer at the Carreer’s Office* (no longer than 3 weeks after the last date of the internship)

    • Statement on the completion of the internship
    • Daybook of the student occupational internship

    *If you are a part time student, you can submit all documents at the Dean’s Office

    How to get credits for internship in Warsaw School of Tourism & Hospitality Management

    Internship is obligatory for all students of undergraduate studies (full time and part time).  They should be accomplished according to internship program for the year of studies and chosen sub-major. You are allowed to find internship by yourself or take an offer from Career’s Office.

    Before your internship starts

     

    Step 1: Print documents below

    Step 2: Let your employer sign 2 copies of the statements
