    The Polish-British double diploma programme initiative enables Management students to obtain diplomas from two universities, namely the Vistula University in Warsaw and its partner university, London South Bank University, within just one course of studies.

  • Mirosław Bojańczyk

    Mirosław Bojańczyk, PhD

    A long-time lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and other schools. He currently works as Professor at the Vistula University and Head of the Educational Programme in charge of the ACCA accreditation. For more than 30 years, he has collaborated with practitioners in the fields of Science and Business. His research areas include finance and accounting, capital markets, investment funds, business valuation and controlling. He authored more than 70 publications in Polish and English. He boasts extensive practical experience. Among others, he worked as Chief Financial Officer for several companies, Director of Citibank Polska, President of one of the National Investment Funds, Vice President of PTE (pension fund management company), Deputy Director of the Banking System Department at the Ministry of Finance, and member of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also served as Supervisory Board member of several companies, including Polski Bank Rozwoju and Izolacja Zduńska Wola (both listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange).

    Tom Hashimoto

    Tomoyuki Hashimoto, PhD

    Specialises in post-socialist transformation, and his current research focuses on the development of financial centres in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics. His interdisciplinary approach is based on institutional economics, financial geography, economic analysis of law and international relations. He is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Vistula University, as well as Senior Lecturer and Director of Financial Economics Programme at the ISM University of Management and Economics, Career Integration Fellow of CERGE-EI (Czech Republic), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), Member of the Royal Geographical Society (UK) and member of British Mensa. He holds the degree of LL.M. (EMLE) from the University of Hamburg and a DPhil in Geography (Financial Geography) from the University of Oxford.

    Magdalena Kaczkowska-Serafińska

    Magdalena Kaczkowska-Serafińska, PhD

    She holds a doctoral degree in Economic Sciences in the field of management and quality sciences (her dissertation on factors determining satisfaction with the work of employees in different European countries was distinguished by the Warsaw School of Economics as a dissertation on work satisfaction).
    She has experience as International Cooperation Coordinator at the Vistula University, HR Manager of the Vistula University Group, business trainer, HR consultant, lecturer, coach. She gained her professional experience in business by managing a large team and working with the business and academic communities. She is listed in the database of the Ministry of State Treasury as a recommended candidate for Supervisory and Management Boards. She took part in international projects financed by the National Science Centre (NCN) and the Visegrad Fund. Author of scientific publications on multifaceted management of Generation Y employees from a cross-cultural perspective. The results of her cross-cultural research were presented at international academic conferences in New York and Chicago.

    A pioneer in Polish e-education, specialised in knowledge management, e-learning and Design Thinking. Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, North East Wales Institute of Higher Education (NEWI) and the Warsaw School of Economics. She authored more than a hundred scientific publications and dozens of popular science publications on e-education. For 17 years, she has inspired, designed and strategised e-learning and knowledge management solutions in multiple Polish companies, schools and NGOs.     Piotr Wiench, PhD

    Obtained his doctoral degree in Sociology. He authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He specialises in human resources and project management, digital transformation and social innovation in organisations. At present, he works at the Institute of Management at the Vistula University, and has also been an expert for the European Commission since 2004, in particular for the Erasmus Programme. He participated in European research projects, including the CREEN project, research on the spread of creationism from the perspective of the Complex System Theory at the Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University of Technology, 2007; Euratom-financed EFDA project titled “Communication quality and lay understanding of fusion technology in Poland: a quasi experimental study of message formulation effects on attitude change”. He was Head of the country team of the 6th Framework Programme: “Society and Lifestyles” (2006–2008) consortium.
